I was beyond honored to capture Dan and Amanda’s wedding. When we met last year, I knew their wedding would be one which would stick in my mind for a long time. They planned every details of their day with meticulous attention, I could tell you a million.. but here are a couple things I was blown away by. Jackie, Dan’s mother created the bouquets by hand using traditional origami as well as all of the place cards. I die. Amanda’s headpiece was given to her by her Aunt Lily and it was created at the turn of the century. I died again. And not to mention, the club itself is personal to Amanda as she grew up on the lake and experienced many celebrations there. When it came to working with Dan and Amanda, it was pretty evident that they were made for each other. They complete each others sentences and when she smiles, so does he.. effortlessly. Their personal portraits I feel reflect that ease and comfort with one another and are absolutely natural to who they are. Congratulations again Amanda and Dan.. THANK YOU for allowing me to a part of your amazing day.
Also, special thanks to Martin Reardon for second shooting with me at this event!
I adore these next two shots..such an honest and beautiful moment!
