Hayley + Dennis: David’s Country Inn, Intimate Wedding in Hackettstown Nj

Surrounded by the rich history of David’s Country Inn in Hackettstown, NJ, Hayley and Dennis embarked on a new chapter of their lives together. The air was filled with love and joy as family and friends gathered to witness their beautiful union. The historic charm of the venue enhanced the magic of the moment, creating a timeless and unforgettable setting for the couple’s special day.

During our conversation about their vision for the wedding images, Hayley and Dennis conveyed their desire for the photographs to reflect the deep bond they share. They articulated that, above all, they view each other as best friends and wished for the magic of their connection to be artfully captured in every image from their special day. They expressed a desire for the photographs to be more than mere snapshots; they wanted each image to encapsulate the genuine camaraderie and love that has grown between them. In their words, the wedding images should serve as a testament to the magical connection they share—a visual narrative of their journey together. And I think we were able to capture this connection. 🙂

Amidst the rustic elegance of the inn, the bride and groom exchanged heartfelt vows underneath a beautiful Chuppah, promising a lifetime of love and companionship. Laughter and smiles filled the air as the newlyweds, embraced by the warmth of their dear ones, celebrated the beginning of their journey as a married couple.

The festivities of their day continued with toasts, dances, and shared moments of happiness. The historic David’s Country Inn became more than just a backdrop; it became a part of the memories that Hayley and Dennis will cherish for a lifetime. As the sun set on this beautiful day, it marked the start of their happily ever after, surrounded by the love and support of those who matter most. It was such an incredible pleasure shooting Meredith and Mike’s wedding, or as I like to refer to them, M+M. 🙂 I can remember when we first met well over a year before their wedding and the consultation we had in my office.  I loved listening to their playful banter back and forth and their vision for their day.  Meredith had lots of ideas for the day and Mike too, but he told me that he loved the bar area at David’s and we made sure we got some fun bar shots for them both. Being in the alcohol industry, Mike loved David’s beautiful vintage bar area; how could you not?! It’s amazing. Over the months before their wedding, Meredith and I chatted many times about the wedding day schedule and her ideas. She was truly, my most organized bride, which made her day flow so beautifuly.   She’s also so incredibly kind and warm and meeting and working with both of them and their families was such a pleasure!  We messaged back and forth so much in the weeks before her wedding, I now miss our daily conversations!   There were so many wonderful touches to their day, a custom cigar area, polaroid pictures, right down to the programs.. no detail was left out!  Even down to the band they selected, who are local to them and totally rocked the party!   Meredith and Mike, thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful day and your incredible love story. Many wishes now and as you embark on this new chapter together. ❤

{ Wedding: Keven and Mary – David’s Country Inn Hackettstown NJ New Jersey Wedding Photographer

It would be an absolute understatement to say that I just enjoyed working with Mary and Keven, because it was an absolutely amazing experience capturing their wedding day.  See, when two people are destined for one another, the day just feels right.. on all levels.  I’m happy to say, the weddings I capture are often like this.  You can feel the joy and happiness in the air and the emotions are palpable.  Their day, was this day. This couple is surrounded by the most incredible family and friends.  I walked into Mary’s parent’s home to begin the getting ready images, I was greeted with hugs, big smiles, lots of jokes and tons of happiness.  Mary was so incredibly calm getting ready and as it looked like it was about to storm outside, she mentioned, “it’s fine, I love the rain.”  In fact, she emailed me a couple days prior to the wedding and said she would love a rainy day and capturing some romantic shots under the umbrella. From that moment forward I knew it was going to be incredible to capture their day.  Mission accepted. Annnnd see below. 🙂  Congratulations again Mary and Keven.. truly my honor to be a part of your incredible day! I remember the day I met with Katie and Tim to discuss my photography services for their big day and we clicked right from the beginning.  Katie and Tim both worked at Disney World years ago, which is where their love story really unfolded.  So fitting they would choose David’s Country Inn which is so reminiscent of the ballroom dance where Belle dances with the Beast in “Tale as Old as Time.”   They even displayed beautiful artwork they collected from the It’s a Small World ride in Disney.  So of course I have to use them as the backdrop for their ring shots. 🙂  This amazing couple also explained to me that it was very important to them to work with the natural beauty of David’s County Inn rather than visiting a random garden and the like.  This was music to my ears as this location offers SO many beautiful areas to shoot.  And thus, we had a blast shooting together.  Katie and Tim, thank you again for asking me to capture your  beautiful day.  I wish you a life time of happiness, now and always!.
